Dear Parents,
I hope you are all doing well during these difficult times. I hope that the virus does not affect your family. Since we are do not know if classes will begin again this semester, we are working with the DDSB to have Virtual Greek School. For resources we will be using Google classroom, as well as to communicate with you. For the actual classroom it will be google meet.
This can change, if it does we will let you know. Virtual Greek School will begin on Wednesday, April 8 at 6 p.m. The way that it will work, is that the classes will be divided into small groups.
For example, the JK SK will be divided into three groups for the virtual class.
Your child’s teacher will tell you what time your child will have the class. Jk to Gr to be only 30 minute session. The higher grades will be 40 minutes. The teachers will also be sending other resources to you.
More information will be given to you on how and when. If you were already contacted, you may receive a change. We are all learning as we go. Please bear with us. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call me or contact your teacher. We are excited to try this new avenue of teaching. We are looking at seeing how we can also incorporate it with regular classes in the future.
